Rocks and Soil Starter Kit

Are rocks and soil on your Science curriculum map? If so, I have the perfect starter kit to get you started planning the best Science lessons!

I have pulled out a few of the best resources to help guide you through the planning process of finding the perfect rocks and soil activities for your students.

Rocks and Soil Starter Kit

This unit has been a best seller for the past four years! It’s dirt and it is timeless?!! Therefore, you will love that the complete unit comes with 5 weeks of lesson plans and I have given you so many tried and true activities.

What Comes in the Starter Kit?

Click HERE to receive this free rocks and soil starter kit! You will receive my most popular Text Features Page “SOIL!” You will love how this incorporates Science and ELA in the same activity! The kit also has flashcards for review, word wall cards, a KWL, and ticket-out-the-door options. I even included three of my edible experiment pages that your students will never forget!!!

Why are flashcards important? Flashcards appeal to visual learners and can be used to stimulate kinesthetic learners too. They are a great way to introduce new vocabulary. My students used these in the classroom and at home to learn all of the new words.  We make flashcards for everything.  They can make notes on the inside and include any facts they need to remember.
