Best Gift for Teacher Appreciation Week

DO NOT, under any circumstance, buy her a coffee mug or a piece of jewelry with an apple on it! Don’t do it!  That mug will become a pen holder or better yet, regifted in a White Elephant Christmas Party exchange!  I promise!  She does not want a mug!

So What is the Best Gift for Teacher Appreciation?

You want to give her something that will be appreciated, wanted, and probably needed?  Why not kill two birds with one stone, support local small businesses, and give your teacher a night off from cooking?!?

I cannot think of one teacher-friend at the end of the school year, especially this school year (2020-21), who is not exhausted!  I guarantee you this is the #1 gift to give an overworked, underpaid teacher!

If not a specific restaurant, why not Ubereats or a DoorDash gift card to give them the opportunity to order whatever they want!  This option gives them a huge selection to choose from!! They may choose donuts and coffee one Saturday morning in bed or brunch and mimosas one Sunday afternoon with girlfriends!

Teacher Appreciation Ideas for Students

To really make an impact statement, grab another student from the class and go in together to give her a HUGE gift card!  I am telling you TRUTH when I say you cannot go wrong with this gift option!  Your teacher will brag about your son or daughter for years to come and you will be known as the BEST gift giver!

If your child is old enough, have them write a note giving thanks for all your teacher did during the school year.  Maybe have them mention a time they went above and beyond to encourage their teacher! Handmade is more meaningful than a Hallmark any day!  My favorite birthday card EVER was a homemade note with a Starburst taped to it!  #priceless

Teaching is hard and not always appreciated!  I guarantee this amazing gift and the small act of words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated! I PROMISE!

Are you ready to finish the year strong? I have created an End-of-the-Year e-book to teach you easy strategies so you can finish strong! It includes 24 different AWARDS for you to CELEBRATE YOUR STUDENTS and give them something meaningful on Honors Day (or Virtually). Click here to learn how you can finish on top of this school year!
